Rizha helps you write and revisit a personal diary on your device. We do not show ads, use third-party usage analytics, or sell personal information.
1. Scope and provider
This policy applies to Rizha for iPhone and iPad, provided by Hefei Zhiwei Lixin Education Technology Co., Ltd. For privacy and support requests, email hzw@zhixinfuture.com.
2. On-device data and permissions
Diary text, dates, moods, bookmarks, place names, photos, videos, files, preferences, and password verification information are stored in the app on your device. The diary password controls app access and iOS file protection protects local files. This is not a claim that all data is end-to-end encrypted with your diary password. We do not operate a server account that can sign in to read your diary.
You select photos, videos, and files through system pickers. Face ID and Touch ID verification are handled by the operating system; Rizha does not receive your face or fingerprint data. System permissions can be revoked in Settings, and biometric unlocking can be disabled in the app.
3. Speech transcription
Recording starts when you tap the microphone. Supported devices and languages transcribe locally once on-device recognition resources are available; downloading system recognition resources may require internet access. When on-device recognition is unavailable and online recognition is needed, Rizha asks for consent first. Online recognition uses Apple speech services and audio may be sent to Apple. You may decline and continue typing. We do not receive your dictation audio or diary text. Recording you start may continue while the screen is locked until stopped in the app or its Lock Screen recording activity. Recording status is not used for advertising or profiling.
4. iCloud, location, and links
iCloud sync is enabled by default and can be disabled in Settings > Data & Security. Diary data and associated media use your own iCloud account; Apple iCloud stores and transfers this data. Turning sync off prevents future sync operations and does not delete existing cloud copies; operations already submitted to the system may finish. Save an independent backup before changing devices.
When you choose to obtain a place, system location and Apple reverse geocoding provide a place name. Rizha does not track your movements in the background; you can enter a place manually. Loading a link preview or opening a link connects to the linked website and its resource services, which may receive your IP address and the requested URL under their own policies. Apple system services are also governed by Apple privacy policies.
5. Backups, deletion, and exports
Local automatic backups are on by default. While the app is in use, they retain one snapshot per day, refreshed during that day, up to the latest seven snapshots. You can turn them off. Missing media are explicitly identified; restoring a partial backup cannot recreate missing originals. ZIP, PDF, and text exports are handed to destinations you select when saving or sharing.
Deleted entries can be restored from Recently Deleted. Permanent deletion requires confirmation and clears applicable app-managed recovery records and backups. Offline devices must sync to receive deletion changes. Rizha does not delete independently exported or shared copies, copies managed by other apps, or system-managed copies. Turning sync off does not delete cloud data; use system iCloud storage management to manage cloud copies. Uninstalling affects local app data, so export anything you need first.
6. Support and website access
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and diagnostic information you choose to attach, solely to handle your request. Do not send real diary entries, passwords, or unnecessary personal information. We cannot bypass your diary password. The hosting provider for this policy and support website may process technical request logs such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. These pages require no sign-in and cannot read your diary.
7. Choices and updates
You may deny microphone, speech, or location permissions and continue using features that do not depend on them. You may disable iCloud sync and local automatic backups. Rizha has no public feed, social account system, or advertising profile. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Contact support for questions about retention, deletion, or withdrawing consent.
